I am an experienced tutor who loves to teach many subjects, but my favorites are Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Organic Chemistry. I have a passion for Chemistry because it applies to so much in our daily lives. It also provides the foundation for the other sciences. I also like helping others obtain the education they need to succeed in all aspects of life. I tutor to not only help students master the material at hand, but to also give them the tools they need to open many doors throughout the rest of their lives. I have over four years of experience tutoring, and over four more years of experience teaching in formal settings. I taught Chemistry as an assistant instructor at two universities, and taught Chemistry and Physical science in a high school. In addition, I taught a college course at Northwest Vista College. I first obtained my bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Oregon State University, with a focus on Organic and Biochemistry. I then earned my master's degree in Chemistry and Education at Indiana University, also focusing on Organic and Biochemistry. In my free time, I love to stay active by hiking, rock climbing, doing CrossFit, and joining mud runs. I also love to dance, read, and play pool.
